Nephews
Nephews
Two young men brought me flowers
Shades of pink and white
Rose and hydrangea
Their handsome faces and gestures
Echoed boys I remember
But how tall they have grown
Handsomeness has edged in
To their features
We talked of Star Wars
But also of politics
Their voices different
Accents shifted
But time could not disguise
The beauty that since birth
Shows in their eyes
