Plot

Plot

I wrote a story for myself

It lacked details

And wasn’t well thought through

But it was my story

A map that plotted

A meandering route

Along the road right to my death

And I thought I’d follow its unremarkable journey

To my journeys end

Sometimes life has other plans

The route was erased

The landmarks crumbled to dust

A plot twist gifted by the gods

Not all gifts are easy to receive
